Romanian PM and Angela Merkel talk about Romania's EUR 143 mln debt to German companies
Romanian Prime Minister Emil Boc has recently said Romania will pay its debt to German companies doing business in the country. The Romanian PM talked about the country's debt to German companies to German Chancellor Angela Merkel, who is on an official visit to Romania. Merkel said this kind of situations don't have a positive outcome for the investment environment, mentioning it is important that these situations don't turn into historic debts and that a legal certainty will prevent such problems from occurring in the future. Romania owes EUR 143 million to German companies, according to Agerpres.
