Romanian PM to meet German Chancellor Merkel during his Berlin visit next week
Romanian Prime Minister Victor Ponta will go to Berlin at the beginning of next week, where he will also meet German chancellor Angela Merkel, according to unnamed sources quoted by Mediafax newswire.
Ponta recently said he will meet chancellor Merkel but did not say when the meeting was scheduled.
The Romanian PM (in picture, left) attended the European Council meeting two weeks ago, where he had a brief discussion with Angela Merkel.
Ponta will be heading to Poland on Wednesday, June 5, for an official visit, and meet his Polish counterpart Donald Tusk. Slovakia should also be on the Romanian PM's agenda next week, according to local media.
