The Romanian Police signed at the end of 2014 a two-year framework agreement totaling EUR 11.8 million with several companies, including Tarom, Eximtur and Perfect Tour, for air transport services necessary to repatriate 5,600 citizens, reports local Mediafx.

Within this agreement, 5,600 tickets will be purchased for those extradited, plus a double number of tickets for the Police forces.

The highest value contract, worth EUR 3.55 million, was signed with tourism agency Olimpic International Tourism that will provide tickets for seven destinations, namely Lisbon, Brussels, Barcelona, Madrid, Frankfurt, Munich and Prague.

International Olympic Tourism also won a contract worth EUR 1.43 million, which covers shipments to 34 cities worldwide.

Another major contract worth EUR 2.55 million was won by tourism agency Danco Pro Communication, which will provide tickets for eight destinations including Amsterdam, London, Monte Carlo (via Nice), Rome, Milan and Paris.
