The Romanian Post will end 2014 with an operating profit of EUR 16.7 million, compared with a loss of EUR 7.8 million reported a year earlier, according to data released by the Ministry for the Information Society, cited by local Agerpres.

The Romanian Post will contribute EUR 87.8 million to the state budget by the end of this year, a record considering the layoffs made in 2013, which reduced payroll tax contributions, according to the Ministry.

The Romanian Post reported a EUR 11.7 million loss in 2012, and EUR 7.8 million loss in 2013.
