Romanian Post to provide EUR 35 mln worth of postal services to Tax Administration ANAF
The Romanian Tax Administration ANAF recently signed a four-year postal services contract with the state -owned Romanian Post. The value of the contract is RON 157.1 million, or some EUR 35 million, including VAT, according to an announcement published in the Electronic System of Public Procurement (SEAP), quoted by local Hotnews.ro.
The contract was awarded following an open bid.
The postal services will be provided to three contracting authorities, namely ANAF, the Ministry of Finance and the Regional General Directorate of Public Finance Bucharest.
Romania’s state-owned postal services company Romanian Post recorded an estimated operating profit of RON 15.1 million (EUR 3.4 million) in the fourth quarter of 2013, after it implemented restructuring and reorganization measures.
