Romanian replaces Profi's Polish GM
Daniel Cirstea will take over as general manager of retailer Profi in Romania, replacing Pawel Musial, who has held this position since 2010, when Polish private equity firm Enterprise Investors took over Profi, reports local Wall-street.ro.
Daniel Cirstea has been operations director for Profi and began his career with the retailer in 2010 as acquisitions director and later on as commercial director. He previously worked for retailers such as Carrefour and Artima.
Pawel Musial will remain a member of the Supervisory Board.
"I think that Profi is a Romanians' store and that the Romanian management team is strong enough today to fully take on the management of the stores," said Pawel Musial.
