Romanian restaurant network to expand to UK and Japan
The local restaurant network Salad Box has reached advanced talks with international partners for expanding to Great Britain, Japan, Algeria, and the Scandinavian countries.
“The partners are the most important part of the expansion plan as they represent our image on those markets,” said Dan Isai, founder of Salad Box, cited by local profit.ro.
Four local entrepreneurs established the company four years ago.
The company has talks with the biggest food operator in the UK, and it plans to open several restaurants in London, said Isai. Salad Box was also one of the international brands chosen by the Japanese Government to be adapted to the local market, Isai added.
The Romanian chain currently has restaurants in Germany and Hungary.
