Romanian company Rompetrol Rafinare, member of KMG International, ended the third quarter with a turnover of USD 1.55 billion and a profit of USD 5.2 million, due to the higher quantity of processed raw materials, optimized fuel distribution channels in Romania and reduced operational costs.

This is the first quarter in the last two years when the company reports profit.

In the first nine months of the year, the company registered a turnover of USD 4.33 billion, up 27% year-on-year, and a net loss of USD 41.7 million, down 50% compared to the same period in 2013.
