Romanian soda producer Uzinele Sodice Govora ups share capital by EUR 10 mln
Local soda producer Uzinele Sodice Govora, owned by the Polish group Ciech Chemical Group, may increase its share capital by about EUR 10 million (RON 45 million) this month, a decision that will be taken in the General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS), said Witold Urbanowski, the company's director .
"The shareholders will have to approve in the GMS the proposal to increase the share capital by RON 45 million, from the current value of RON 66.3 million (EUR 14.7 million) to RON 111.3 million (EUR 24.7 million), to attract the liquidity necessary for the company's development strategy through investments," Urbanowski added, cited by local Agerpres.
About 180 million new shares will be issued for this purpose, with a nominal value of EUR 0.05/share, while the number of shares issued by the Company will be increased from 265 million to more than 445 million.
