Romanian song of the week: ROA – Aripi in vant (Wings in the wind)

02 May 2011

The new song of the week chosen by Romania-Insider.com is performed by ROA (Rise Of Artificial), a recently established band that has already gained popularity in Romania. The new song that rules the Romanian dance floors is called “Aripi in Vant” (“Wings in the Wind”). This is the second single of their future album that will include 15 tracks. The first single was “We Like It” (“Ne Place”).

ROA is a musical project founded during the autumn of 2010, by two electronic music producers in Romania, Bogdan Popoiag (UNU’) and Cezar Stanciulescu (Junkyard). Stanciulescu is a former member of the Suie Paparude band.

The band was planning to include two more members, responsible for the electronic elements of guitar sounds and live drums. The voice, the synthesizers, the acoustic drums and the electric guitar will therefore contribute as signature elements to the 100% live concerts that are to follow. Up to any further changes, the ROA project shall perform/ function with two members, as DJ Gigs.

Listen to their second single below. More about the band.
