Alexandrina is a new discovery for us, we might be a little late to the discovery game, but we’re happy to have found this singer.

By her real name Alexandrina Hristov, the 36-year old is from the Republic of Moldova, and has been singing professionally since 2005. Around that time, she also moved to Romania.

The song we chose to feature is called Orasul Umbre – The City Shadows – and has a good rythm to it.

The song is in Romanian, and is part of Alexandrina’s second album, called Flori de Spin, launched in April 2014.

It is hard to define her style – it’s a combination of acoustic pop, alternative, chillout, jazz and soul.
