The National Anticorruption Directorate (DNA) prosecutors recently arrested Dan Tache, the director of the state-owned company National Company for Military Technique (Romarm) and Aurel Veltan, the head of the company’s branch in Brasov, for abuse of office.

The two allegedly closed two illegal contracts with the company SC Gold Trans Tur SRL which received over EUR 173,000 for its services, reports local Mediafax.

The prosecutors also held Daniel Liliac, administrator of this company, for complicity in abuse of office.

Those indicted closed the contracts by breaking the public procurement procedures, according to the DNA prosecutors.
