Romanian students win six medals at the International Astronomy Olympiad
Romanian students won six medals at this year’s edition of the International Astronomy Olympiad organized in Kyrgyzstan between October 12 and October 21.
Romanian Tudor Costel Cretu won the gold medal, while the two silver medals went to Andrei Radu and Andrei Catalin Raduc, according to a statement of the Romanian Ministry of Education. Malina Rosca, Andra Gabriela Jitaru and Cosmin Andrei received the bronze medals.
A total of 80 students from 20 countries participated at the 2014 edition of the Olympiad.
