Owner of Romanian tech brand Allview ups turnover by 10%

Romanian company Visual Fan, the owner of the Allview smartphone brand, recorded a 10% increase in its turnover last year, from RON 274 million (EUR 60.6 million) in 2015 to over RON 300 million (EUR 67 million), reports local Profit.ro.

Allview is the second most popular smartphone brand in Romania, after Samsung, based on the number of units sold. In 2015, the turnover dropped by 0.8% whereas the profit went down by 41% to EUR 3.6 million.

According to the company, 10% of its turnover was generated on foreign markets where the Allview products are exported. Last year, the company entered the smart home solutions segment, which is expected to contribute by about 10% to the turnover.

The company Visual Fan was founded in 2004 by Romanian entrepreneur Lucian Peticila.
