Bulgaria, charters for Greece and Turkey, spa and mountain resorts and the Romanian seaside are the most popular destination chosen by Romanian tourists for the May 1 mini-break, representatives of travel agencies told local news agency Agepres.

“Most requests for the May 1 mini-break are made for stays of 4-5 nights on the Bulgarian seaside, but also for the Romanian one. There is demand for both destinations, most of the Romanian tourists choose first the Bulgarian coast especially for the all-inclusive services they find at the hotels in this area. We started the holiday season with Easter, and many Romanians are preparing their summer holidays for destinations from Greece, Spain, Turkey,” said Marius Pandel, CEO Christian Tour, quoted by Agerpres.
