Romanians close more real estate transactions in first four months
The number of real estate transactions increased by over 21,000 in the first four months of the year compared to the same period in 2013, reaching a total of some 283,800, according to data from the National Agency of Cadastre and Land Registration.
Over 77,600 transactions were recorded on a national level in April, with almost 2,700 more compared to the same month of the previous year. Most of the real estate deals were recorded in Bucharest - 5,500, followed by Arad and Timis. The lowest number of transactions was reported in Teleorman, Bistrita-Nasaud and Covasna.
In the first four months, the Romanian capital also recorded the highest number of real estate transactions - 18,842, followed by Timis and Ilfov.
