Romanians complain about the poor organization of Robbie Williams’ concert, organizers risk large fine
Organizers of the Robbie Williams concert in Bucharest risk a large fine after more than 200 Romanians already filed complaints at the National Consumer Protection Authority (ANPC), being unhappy with the event’s organization.
Spectators mainly complained about not having easy access to the drink stands. Some of them even had to wait 90 minutes for a drink. People were also unhappy with the low number of serving staff, their inefficiency, and the lack of trash bins. They’ve also complained about the fact that ambulances couldn’t reach those who needed medical attention because of the heat and dehydration.
ANPC president Marius Dunca said that the Consumer Protection Authority needs to see exactly how many legal provisions the organizers violated, to determine the fine, reports local Agerpres. ANPC will most likely give a fine next week.
Earlier this week, beer producer Ursus, the sponsor and beer supplier of the Robbie Williams concert in Romania, has apologized in a Facebook message to all those who have complained about the poor organization of the event.
Robbie Williams performed in Bucharest’s Constitutiei Square on July 17.
