Some of the most popular destinations for spending Easter this year are domestic ones, as well as resorts in Bulgaria and Greece, along with the Senior Voyage programs, according to tourism agencies quoted by Agerpres.

Many Romanians will choose rural guest houses for Easter this year, while Bulgaria and Greece were choices for those who want a mini – break on the seaside. Romania was also chosen for its mountain resorts, according to agencies.

On average, those who bought holiday packages via tourism agencies paid about EUR 100 to EUR 150 per person for the Easter holiday. In Romania, they go for full boarding, including holiday dinners, and for Bulgaria and Greece, for all – inclusive packages.

There was also high request this year for pilgrimage holidays to Israel, as well as for Israel – Jordan packages.

Most asked for packages within the Senior Voyage offers were Costa Brava – EUR 365 per person, Costa del Sol – ER 470 per person, Naples – Sorento – starting EUR 345 per person.
