Romania’s Education Ministry to rank local universities
The Romanian Ministry of Education will make a ranking of universities in Romania, based on the institutions' performances and facilities. The ranking is to be ready by autumn this year, reports local Digi24.
This ranking will not only show the quality of education, but it will also be useful for potential employers.
“Such a classification should only be made in a transparent manner and based on some parameters that take into account both the research and the education sides, the university’s role in regional development and the employers’ opinions on educational services,” said Romanian Minister of Education Sorin Cîmpeanu, cited by Digi24.
The ranking would be useful to possible employers and Romanian students and parents, but also to foreign students who come to study in Romania.
