Romania’s Eurovision representatives will promote their song in three European cities
Romanian singers Ilinca and Alex Florea, the two artists who won the national selection and will represent Romania at the 2017 Eurovision music competition in Kyiv, will promote their song Yodel It in three European cities this spring.
On April 2, Ilinca and Alex Florea will play their song at the London Eurovision Party, which will be organized at Café de Paris, according to the Romanian public television TVR.
Next, on April 8, the two Romanian singers will be in Amsterdam, where they will perform Yodel It on the Melkweg stage. Their promotion tour will end on April 15, at the Eurovision Pre-Party in Madrid, Spain.
“We are delighted to have been invited to the promotion concerts and we are happy that the song Yodel It is already known in Europe. We will sing with all our hearts in the UK, the Netherlands, and Spain. We hope to convince many Eurovision fans to vote for us in the May final in Kyiv. We’re counting on the support of Romanians abroad, who we also want to meet during our promotion tours,” said Ilinca and Alex.
The two singers won the national selection for Eurovision 2017 a week ago. While Ilinca competed in the 2014 edition of the Voice of Romania, Alex Florea was a contestant in X-Factor Romania in 2014 and in Voice of Romania in 2015.
The 62nd edition of the Eurovision song contest takes place in Kyiv this year. Romania’s representatives will compete in the second semifinal, on May 11, for a place in the May 13 final.
