Romania's fiscal agency seeks technical support for Oracle licenses

Romania’s National Fiscal Administration Agency (ANAF) is ready to pay EUR 13.7 million for technical support for its Oracle licenses, in the next four years.

ANAF will launch a public tender to select a supplier that will provide it with updates and upgrades of the Oracle licenses that run on its computers, reports local Profit.ro. The new supplier will be announced in March.

Local IT&C integrator Teamnet International, a company founded by local businessman and MP Sebastian Ghita, has provided this service to ANAF in the past four years. The contract was attributed in 2012 for EUR 6.1 million, according to information available on the e-licitatie.ro public procurement portal.
