Romania’s fiscal authority says collected revenues slightly above planned level
Romania’s National Agency for Fiscal Administration (ANAF) collected revenues totaling EUR 30.6 billion in the first nine months of 2014, 0.5% above the planned level for the period.
Budget revenues were 5.7% higher compared to the first nine months of 2013, ANAF has announced.
The revenues collected to the state budget were EUR 20.7 billion, 0.1% more than planned and 5.1% above those collected in the same period of last year.
The tax on company profits generated revenues of EUR 2.04 billion, some 13% larger year on year. The tax on personal revenues stood at EUR 3.86 billion, up by 2.5%.
Sums collected from the value added tax (VAT) increased only by 0.8%, to EUR 8.55 billion. Excises brought 11.2% more money to the state, some EUR 3.95 billion.
The public health insurance fund had revenues of EUR 3.13 billion, almost 15% higher compare to the first nine months of 2013. The social state insurance budget, from which the public pensions are paid, cashed in EUR 6.55 billion and the social insurance budget for unemployment received some EUR 251 million.
