Romania’s forex reserves, up by EUR 117 mln
Romania’s foreign exchange reserves increased in March by EUR 117 million compared to the previous month.
They reached EUR 30.6 billion, from EUR 30.48 billion on February 28, according to the Romanian National Bank (BNR).
The Central Bank recorded in March inflows worth EUR 1.72 billion and outflows of EUR 1.6 billion.
Romania repaid the International Monetary Fund some EUR 28 million, whereas the Finance Ministry repaid bond issues worth EUR 1.05 billion.
The gold reserves were steady at 103 tonnes. Despite international price evolutions, their value stood at EUR 3.66 billion.
