Romania’s inflation rate up at 0.95% in July
Consumer prices in Romania fell by 0.1 percent in July this year over the previous month, as prices of food decreased by 0.3 percent, according to the country’s Statistics Office INS. Meanwhile, the annual inflation rate went up to 0.95 percent.
Romania’s inflation rate was of 0.66 percent in June this year.
Prices for services increased by 0.4 percent in July compared to the previous month, while prices for non-food items remained relatively stable.
The biggest price decrease in food items was recorded for citrus fruits and other exotic fruits - down some 2.5 percent.
