Romania's National Cadastre Program costs EUR 1.3 billion
Romania will launch its National Cadastre Program next week.
It will cost EUR 1.2-1.3 billion, EUR 300 million of which will come from European Funds and the rest from the National Agency for Cadastre and Land Registration’s budget, said Development Minister Liviu Dragnea.
It was difficult to convince the European Commission to finance this program with European money, said Dragnea, cited by local Mediafax.
The law changed so that the agency could keep the revenues it collects and use them only for financing this program. So far, its revenues used to go to the state budget.
