Romania’s office inventory reaches 2.39 million sqm
Romania had 2.39 million sqm of modern office space at the end of June, up 8% compared to the same period last year.
The office demand in Bucharest advanced by 15% year-on-year, according to a report by DTZ Echinox. It was supported by new operations, expansions and relocations from Class C office space to modern office buildings.
About 135,000 sqm of offices were delivered in Bucharest in the first six months of the year, up 60% over the same period of last year. Some 110,000 sqm were occupied.
The largest deals between January and June included pre-lease transactions and renegotiations.
