Prime Minister Dacian Ciolos has appointed Dragos-Nicolae Pislaru as his advisor on economic affairs.

Pislaru has been the general manager of the company GEA Strategy & Consulting and a lecturer at the Academy of Economic Sciences (ASE) in Bucharest.

He graduated from ASE, the Faculty of International Economic Relations, and founded GEA Strategy & Consulting in 2006. The firm provides consulting services for the central and local public administration, as well as for the local business environment.

Former finance minister Liviu Voinea, who is now a deputy governor of Romania’s National Bank, was also one of GEA’s founders.
