Romania's railway company CFR signs EUR 12.5 mln railway work contract
Romania's state-owned railway company CFR has signed a contract worth EUR 12.5 million (VAT included) with the joint venture Alstom Transport - Pas 97 Impex.
It concerns the design and implementation of a system that detects the overheated axle boxes and breaks, which will function close to 21 railway stations.
The contract will be financed from external non-reimbursable funds (71.1%) and the state budget (28.8%) and will last 53 months, around half of which cover the warranty period.
