Romania's Tax Agency collects over EUR 15 bln in first four months
Romania’s Tax Agency (ANAF) collected over RON 68.45 billion (EUR 15 billion) in the first four months of the year, up 2.71% compared to the same period in 2016.
This means an extra EUR 400 million to the state budget, according to the ANAF press release issued yesterday.
In April, ANAF collected revenues of over RON 18 billion (around EUR 4 billion), up 7% year-on-year.
In the first two months, the consolidated budget recorded a surplus of EUR 87.5 million (0.05%), half compared to the surplus of EUR 174 million recorded in January and February last year, as the budget revenues dropped by 1.4%.
