The tax on special constructions, the so called ‘pole tax’ will be cut from the current 1.5% to 1%, according to Finance Minister Ioana Petrescu. The measure will be applied in 2015, and stemmed from discussions with representatives of investors in Romania. The tax will be first collected by the state budget, and then re-directed to local budgets.
