Romania's Transelectrica has new chairman of the supervisory board
Dragos Zachia-Zlatea has been appointed Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Romania's state-controlled electricity transporter Transelectrica. He has been a member of the Supervisory Board since November 9, last year.
Zachia-Zlatea was general manager of Romania’s largest power producer Hidroelectrica.
Carmen Neagu was the Chairman of the Transeletrica’s Supervisory Board until the end of last year. She is now the general manager of EnergoBit.
Transelectrica had a revenues of EUR 649 million, up by 6%, and a net profit of EUR 81 million, in 2015. The company plans to pay some EUR 43 million worth of dividends from last year’s profit. The dividend per share is RON 2.65 and represents 9.1% of the current share price (RON 29.1).
Transelectrica is listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange and has a market capitalization of close to EUR 480 million.
