Ryanair introduces EUR 5 flights from Bucharest to Bologna, Milan
Irish low-cost airline Ryanair has introduced flights from Bucharest to Bologna and Milan that cost EUR 5 per segment. The prices are available in February.
Elsewhere in Europe, the company sells tickets as low as EUR 1 per one-way trip, for some flights departing from Dublin.
The company announced last month the establishment of its first base in Romania on the airport of Timisoara. Its profit doubled in the fourth quarter of last year due to the boost in the number of passengers and the decline in the oil price.
Ryanair transported last year a record number of travelers. The number of passengers rose to 101.4 million in 2015 from 86.4 million in 2014.
