Sales of Romania’s Dacia increase by 9.5% in the first six months in Germany
Romanian car brand Dacia’s new car registrations in Germany went up by 9.5 percent in the first half of the year to some 25,700 cars, four times higher than the growth of 2.4 percent reported by the overall market.
Dacia had a market share of 1.7 percent in Germany in the first six months, according to data from the German Car Registrations Office, quoted by Mediafax.
Jeep had the best evolution in this period, registering an advance of 33 percent, while Chevrolet, with a drop of 62.6 percent, had the largest decrease.
In June, Dacia’s sales increased by 8.7 percent to over 5,000 cars, on an overall market that reported a decline of 1.9 percent. The market share of the Romanian car brand was 1.8 percent.
