Sasha, Die Antwoord and Gramatik on stage at Electric Castle Festival in Romania this summer
South African rap-rave band Die Antwoord, Sasha and Gramatik will perform at this year’s edition of Electric Castle Festival, organized between June 19 and June 22 at Banffy Castle, near Cluj-Napoca.
Die Antwoord is a rap-rave group from Cape Town, South Africa, comprised of Ninja, Yo-Landi Visser, who are joined by DJ Hi-Tek. The band launched in 2009 with the album SOS, followed in 2012 by the second album Tension. More about the band on their official website here.
Sasha is a well-known DJ and producer, which began his career in late 1980s. Born in Wales, he has been voted among the top ten DJs in the world by readers of DJ Mag every year since 1997, placing first in 2000. More about him here.
Gramatik is also a DJ and producer born in Portoroz, Slovenia. Listen some of his music on the official website here.
This year’s edition of the festival gathers 100 top artists, such as Thievery Corporation, Bonobo, Rusko, Foreign Beggars, Slow Magic, Maribou State, or Romanians Aria Urbana, Suie Paparude, Subcarpati, or Silent Strike.
