Schneider Electric Romania appoints new VP for its Energy Division
Ionut Farcas is the new vice president of Schneider Electric Romania’s Energy Division, the company has announced. This division was previously coordinated by Florentina Totth, which was named the company’s president in February this year, but she also held the position of interim vice president until the appointment of Farcas.
Before joining Schneider Electric’s team, Ionut Farcas worked eight years with Enel, where he held several positions.
He graduated from the Faculty of Engineering within Vasile Alecsandri University in Bacau in 2004 and also holds a master’s degree in marketing from the same university. Between 2000 and 2001, he attended an Erasmus program in engineering in Genoa, and also followed the courses of the Italo Calvino Technical Institute (2001-2002). In 2009, he completed a leadership program in energy management at IESE Business School in Barcelona and at the Faculty of Management within Bocconi Unviersity in Milan.
