Second largest airport in Romania sees traffic up 16% in August
Passenger traffic on the international airport in Cluj – Napoca was up 16% in August, with 129,000 passengers in and out, and 9% more takeoffs and landings compared to a year ago, according to airport officials.
In the first half of the year, the Cluj – Napoca airport saw 517,000 passengers, and 5,800 aircraft movements, which made it Romania’s second largest airport in terms of passengers, after the main airport in Bucharest.
