Second Romanian museum included on exhibition portal for Europe
A museum in Romania was recently included on the euromuse.net portal, which promotes museums across Europe. The Dacian and Roman Civilization Museum in Deva is thus the second Romanian museum to be included on the promotion portal, after Romania's National Museum of Art.
Information in English about this museum can be found on euromuse.net, a site which is financed by the European Commission and supported by the Network of European Museum Organizations NEMO.
The portal presents information in English and in the local language, presenting museums around Europe, including information about admission tickets, opening hours and location.
The Deva Museum of Dacian and Roman Civilization (MDRC) operates in Magna Curia Palace, an edifice which, since 1998, has entered into a process of restoration, completed in 2006, when the commissioning of the building was also made.
