Selgros Cash&Carry Romania invests EUR 4 mln in distribution center
Retailer Selgros Cash&Carry Romania has invested about EUR 4 million in a distribution center for Bucharest and surroundings. The company plans to enter the distribution market for hotels, restaurants and canteens.
Hotel and restaurant owners prefer to externalize the supply services and dedicate themselves to cooking and serving the customers, said Adrian Dragomir, Distribution Director for Selgros Cash&Carry Romania.
The new distribution center covers 3,500 sqm, and the delivery service will be launched in 3 months.
Selgros Cash&Carry entered the local market in 2001, and it currently owns 19 stores in Bucharest and several other cities in Romania.
