The turnover in the sector of services mainly provided to companies rose by 10.7% in Romania in September, compared to the same month last year. The growth pace slowed down compared to the one in August.

The demand of IT and transport services supported the increase, according to data from the National Statistics Institute (INS).

In August, the turnover in the sector of services provided to companies went up by 13% year-on-year.

In September, the highest increases were recorded in the IT services, which rose by 24.7% year-on-year. The transport services increased by 15.7% year-on-year.

The turnover in the sector of services provided to companies represents an indicator of the businesses carried out by companies that make at least half of their revenues from selling their own services to other firms.
