Shareholder asks for Dinamo soccer club insolvency

One of the shareholders of Romanian soccer club Dinamo, Vasile Turcu has asked for the insolvency of the soccer club through his lawyers, to whom he sold the litigation rights. The Public Finance Administration of the 1st Bucharest district has joined in asking for the starts of the insolvency procedures due to unpaid debts, according to Ziarul Financiar quoting Mediafax newswire. The fist hearing in the file was set for November 26 this year.

Turcu had previously said that if the soccer club was not paying its debt, it should come under the bankruptcy law, risking to lose its professional soccer license. Turcu has previously tried to exit the club's shareholders, asking the other shareholders to buy his shares. The other shareholders of the club are Nicolae Badea, Cristi Borcea and Dragos Savulescu.
