The second edition of ShortsUP Cinema Picnic will bring short films, live music and games at the Botanical Garden in Bucharest on July 24 and July 25. The event starts at 18:00.

The event’s program includes guided tours of the Garden, between 18:00 and 21:30, and movie screenings starting 21:30. There will also be outdoor games, music, and fresh snacks.

Organizers advise movie fans to bring blankets at the event, to sit on during screenings. However, there will also be blankets for sale at the Picnic.

Tickets cost RON 20 per evening if purchased in advance from Eventim and MyTicket, and RON 25 per evening at the door.

Depending on the weather, the event might be rescheduled for the following weekend (July 31 and August 1), according to a statement posted on the event’s website.

Some 2,500 people attended the first edition of ShortsUP Cinema Weekend in 2014.
