Snooker legend Ronnie O'Sullivan comes to Romania for exhibition games
Ronnie “The Rocket” O’Sullivan, one of the most famous snooker players ever, will come to Romania this fall, to play two exhibition matches in Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca.
Romanian businessman Adrian Thiess, who has arranged Ronnie O’Sullivan's trip to Romania, confirmed the information.
“Yes, Ronnie O’Sullivan will come to Romania to play two exhibition matches. He will be in Sofia on November 20, and then he will come to Bucharest. He will play in the capital on November 21, and in Cluj the next day,” said Thiess, cited by local Hotnews.ro.
O’Sullivan will play against current World Snooker Champion Stuart Bingham. The exact locations of the two matches were not yet revealed. The cheapest tickets will cost EUR 15-20, and will be available online on eventim.ro, reports local Mediafax.
Ronnie O’Sullivan, 39, is an English professional snooker player. He earned the nickname "The Rocket" because of his rapid playing style. His first major success came when he won the 1993 UK Championship at the age of 17 years and 358 days, making him the youngest player ever to win a professional ranking tournament. He won the World Champion title six times, in 2001, 2004, 2008, 2012, and 2013.
