Some 1,500 soldiers from eight countries play war games in Eastern Romania
A large-scale military exercise brought over 1,500 soldiers and more than 100 military vehicles to Romania this June. The exercise, called ROUSOFEX 15, took place between June 16 and June 26 in several military bases, firing ranges and airfields in Eastern Romania.
Soldiers from Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, the Republic of Moldova, Poland, Romania, the U.S., and Turkey took part in the war games planned and conducted by the Romanian Army's special operations forces this year.
The exercise included tactical maneuvers, combat shootings, and parachuting troops into combat situations, including on an oil platform in the Black Sea.
