South African fund NEPI to be listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange at the beginning of June

South African investment fund New Europe Property Investment (NEPI) will be listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange on June 7, according to Dan Weiler, Executive Director, corporate finance & investment banking of Banca Comerciala Romana, quoted by Wall-street.ro. NEPI's shares will be listed on the "Other international financial instruments" segment, in the A Category.

NEPI will list its full share capital at the Bucharest Stock Exchange. Martin Slabbert, the managing director of the company, has not made any estimated regarding the funds that will be raised through the listing.

The South-African investment fund  is one of the most active real estate investors in Romania, with total assets of EUR 360 million at the end of 2010. Its biggest asset in Romania is Promenada Mall Braila, which covers 53,000 sqm. NEPI’s shares are already trading  on the London Stock Exchange and on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange's main market.
