Investments made in spa tourism in recent years exceed EUR 150 million, but this sector faces the problem of migration of specialized medical personnel, attracted by better payment conditions in other countries, according to Nicu Radulescu, president of Spa Tourism Employers' Federation of Romania (OPTBR).

In an interview for local Agerpres, he noted that, because of the diversification of services offered through new wellness centers, more active people come to the spa to improve their health.
