Spanish flamenco-jazz pianist Dorantes is one of the artists that will go on stage at this year’s edition of Sibiu Jazz Festival. It will be the first time when the Spanish artist will perform in Romania, reports local Mediafax.

His concert will take place on the second day of the festival, on October 23.

The 45th edition of Sibiu Jazz Festival will be organized between October 22 and October 25. Besides Dorantes, the event’s line-up includes several international artists such as Niccols Faraci Quartet (Italy), Vein Trio – Jazz Talks (Switzerland), Amos Hoffman Quartet – Brown Sugar (Israel), and Soneros De Verdad (Cuba).

On October 22, the entry is made based on invitation, but tickets can also be purchased at the entrance. They will cost RON 70. For the period between October 23 and October 25, a 3-day pass costs RON 200 (RON 150 with discount), and a one-day ticket costs RON 70 (RON 50 with discount). Tickets can be purchased online on eventim.ro.

Sibiu Jazz Festival Competition will take place before the festival, between October 19 and October 21, at Gong Theater. Tickets cost RON 5 and RON 10.
