Spend a Sleepless Night of Romanian Film next week-end

Bucharest people are invited on September 17, between 6 pm and 2 am, to the longest night of the Romanian film, a marathon of Romanian productions, part of the first Sleepless Night of the Romanian Film.

The event is organized by the Association for the Promotion of the Romanian Film together with the Bucharest City Hall, the General Council of the City of Bucharest and ArCuB, with joint organizers such as the New Cinema of the Romanian Film Director, Romania Film, the National Centre of Cinematography and partners such as the National Film Archives - the Romanian Film Library, the Romanian Filmmakers Union, the French Institute and France's Embassy, the Fabrica Club, HBO Romania, the Humanitas Bookshops.

The event plans to give the vast audience the opportunity to spend a night in the company of some Romanian films of all kinds, shot by filmmakers of all generations, thus covering a range of tastes as wide as possible.

More than 30 Romanian films will be screened in nine places: the George Enescu Square, Uranus 144, the terrace of the Fabrica Club, the New Cinema of the Romanian Film Director (the Museum of the Romanian Peasant), MTR Open Air, the Patria Cinema, the Studio Cinema, the Elvira Popescu Hall, the Eforie Cinema.
