Romania will take part in European Mobility Week with two major sports events to be organized in Bucharest's Baneasa Forest this September.

Gabriela Szabo Run Fest, a running event dedicated to children, youth and adults, as well as beginners or advanced runners, will be held in Baneasa Forest, northern Bucharest, on September 21, 2013.

Those interested can chose between 3 km and 9 km routes. More information about schedule or registration can be found here.

The second event, to be held in the same area, will be the Riders Club Team Challenge, a MTB cycling competition for teams on September 22, 2013.

The races will be organized for different categories based on gender and skill levels. More about the event here.

Registrations for both events are open until Friday, September 20, 2013.

Romanian World and Olympic track and field champion Gabriela Szabo will fire the starting gun at both events.

European Mobility Week is an event dedicated to sustainable mobility, organized between September 16 and September 22.
