Sports, street dance, music and theater in Bucharest to celebrate Olympic Games

“The Olympics come to Ferentari” event, organized by the British Embassy in Bucharest and the Policy Center for Roma and Minorities will be held in the capital city, on July 27, starting 10:00 hours, on Aleea Livezilor street. The event is organized to mark a year before the official opening of the Olympic Games in London, in 2012.

The program will include basketball, football, fencing, boxing, street-dance, theatre, face painting, and short English lessons.  The event will be opened by a speech held by Martin Harris, the UK Ambassador to Romania.
