Almost 1,300 Romanian start-ups get state financing in nine months
A total of 1,270 start-ups have received non-reimbursable state financing of up to RON 200,000 (EUR 43,000) in the nine months since the start of the Start-Up Nation program, 2017 edition, according to data from the Business Environment Ministry.
Over 1,900 start-ups registered for this program and the ministry has already approved the payments for over 1,300 of them. All the payments should be made by the end of this year, according to the ministry.
The Business Environment Ministry is now working on the 2018 edition of the program, which aims to finance a higher number of start-ups.
